About Us
My wife Debra, son Joshua and I live in Atlanta, Georgia, in an area of town called Sandy Springs. If I’m not at my job at Racemi, you might find me on the golf course or working on the homestead. Of course, with so many other things to do in Atlanta, you’ll probably find it hard to catch me.
Whenever someone asks me where I’m from, I’m always amazed at the surprise to my response, “I grew up in Montana.” Hey, there’s almost 500,000 people in the state, almost half the number of people in Gwinnett
County, Georgia.
In May 2001, I joined a startup company called Racemi. In a nutshell, we make really small computers for data centers. These new computers are more reliable than older server technology, use a lot less power, and the software that I work on allows the computers to share load, and, if not needed, shut down until demand makes it necessary to start up again. Really neat stuff.
Until about 2001, I was a Software Architect for Hewlett-Packard, working in the Internet and System Security Lab in Atlanta, Georgia. The “lab” is the mother of the VirtualVault, a platform designed to keep bad guys from breaking into your web server from the Internet.
My past work has plunged me deep into the bowels of the Netscape Enterprise Server and the NSAPI. So much so, that I was a DevEdge Champion for Netscape for about two years; a title which merely means that I partnered with Netscape to monitor the Netscape Developers NSAPI newsgroup.
Primarily, my career history has kept me in Internet and computer security. I love this field! What other job gives you the opportunity to go to work every day and play?
My resume will tell you more about my work history if you are curious, or if you want to offer me huge amounts of money to come work for you ![]()
